Legal Practitioner and Rights Activist Oliver Barker-Vormawor has sparked a crucial conversation about the need for dignity in death, following the recent helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight individuals, including Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah.

Barker-Vormawor referenced the June 3rd victims, whose bodies were transported in the bucket of a pickup truck, thrown on top of each other without body bags, and broadcast live on TV. He also mentioned the use of cocoa sacks to transport the bodies of the helicopter crash victims, questioning the dignity and respect accorded to the deceased.

The activist further criticized the recent trend of dressing up dead bodies in attire associated with their professions or interests, such as rappers, masons, or tailors. Barker-Vormawor expressed his disgust, stating, "Just Yuck! Yuck! Yuck!" emphasizing the need for a more respectful and dignified approach to handling the dead.
