Multiple Fatalities Feared in Kasoa Tollbooth Horror Crash
A devastating road accident near the Kasoa tollbooth in the Central Region has left several people feared dead and many others injured. The crash occurred on Sunday, October 26, when a Sprinter minibus collided with a Jeep 4x4 that was reversing on the highway.
Eyewitnesses report that the minibus, which was fully loaded with passengers, somersaulted multiple times after the impact, resulting in several immediate fatalities. The victims were heading towards Kasoa when the accident occurred.
The Jeep 4x4, with registration number GR 7673, was reportedly reversing on the highway when it was struck by the oncoming minibus, registration number GW 7455-18. The force of the collision was immense, causing catastrophic damage to both vehicles.
Paramedics who rushed to the scene faced significant challenges in providing medical aid to the victims.
