The LEAD NEWS, a subsidiary of Media Trade was originally founded in 2010 as a conventional 15 pages newspaper with a weekly circulation of about 7 thousand copies at various news stands within Ghana's main and noted capital towns, Accra, Tema, Takoradi and Kumasi. 

It provided non-partisan reports, subjective analysis of information with facts and records, leaving readers to make frank analysis.

With the globalization birthing the golden age of technological advancement and the overwhelming taste for Social media, LEAD NEWS has transitioned into a full blown commercial online news portal with extensive features and top notch qualities to bring our audience nothing but the best, when it comes to news and current affairs.
