GNPC Holds 2nd Annual General Meeting, Reaffirms Commitment to Sustainable Growth   

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has successfully concluded its 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Accra, marking a significant milestone in the corporation's journey towards operatorship and sustainable growth.

Chaired by Prof. Joseph Oteng-Adjei, GNPC's Board Chairman, the meeting brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from the Ministry of Energy & Green Transition, Ministry of Finance, and GNPC's Board, Management, and staff.

Acting CEO, Mr. Kwame Ntow Amoah, reaffirmed GNPC's commitment to value creation, innovation, and sustainable growth, guided by the theme "Consolidating Our March Towards Operatorship". The meeting highlighted significant progress on the Voltaian Basin Project, near completion of GNPC's Research & Technology Centre, and continued work on other key operational activities.

Notably, GNPC is strengthening its integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and green energy practices, aligning with Ghana's decarbonization goals and principles of a just transition. Mr. Amoah emphasized the corporation's dedication to building a strong, forward-looking energy future for Ghana, in collaboration with government, regulators, and partners.
