Accra, Ghana - 12 Jan, 2025 - Ghana's Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has pledged her support to the female caucus of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Members of Parliament (MPs).

The MPs, who visited Prof. Opoku-Agyemang earlier this week, were congratulated on their success in the recent elections.

During the meeting, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang emphasized the need for more women in Parliament and encouraged the MPs to prioritize mentorship and mutual support as they begin their tenure. She also advised them to remain independent and focus on delivering results for their constituencies and the country as a whole.

The MPs expressed their gratitude for Prof. Opoku-Agyemang's gesture and assured her of their commitment to working with President John Dramani Mahama and herself to build a better Ghana.
