President Mahama Kicks Off 'Thank You' Tour in Bono East Region
Bono East Region - 29 May, 2025 - President John Dramani Mahama has kicked off his three-region "Thank You" tour in the Bono East Region, marking a significant step in his nationwide appreciation campaign.
President Mahama's tour seeks to convey sincere appreciation to Ghanaians for their resounding support in the December 2024 elections, while reaffirming his dedication to inclusive and participatory governance.
This tour is part of President Mahama's efforts to acknowledge the trust and support Ghanaians have shown him, which propelled him to victory in the elections. He secured 56% of the vote, defeating Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia with a significant margin.
The "Thank You Tour" began earlier this year, covering regions such as the Volta, Western, Central, Upper East, and Northern Regions. Today, May 29, marks another crucial day in the tour, as President Mahama addresses the people of Bono East.
During the durbar, President Mahama will outline his administration's development agenda for the region, focusing on priority projects that cater to the specific needs of the people.
These projects are expected to drive job creation, youth empowerment, education, healthcare, and infrastructure development. After visiting Bono East, the President will proceed to the Bono Region on May 29 and conclude the tour in the Ahafo Region on May 30.
