Parliament Set to Reconvene on May 27

Accra, Ghana - 26 May, 2025 - The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has announced that Parliament will resume its sittings on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, following a recess.

In accordance with parliamentary procedures, the Speaker issued a formal notice to inform Members of Parliament (MPs) of the upcoming resumption of business, as mandated by Order 58 of the Standing Orders of Parliament.

This ensures that all MPs are adequately prepared for the return to parliamentary proceedings.

During the Second Meeting of the First Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic, MPs are expected to engage in debates on key national issues, review legislation, and consider reports from various parliamentary committees.
