Parliament Set to Grill Final Batch of Ministerial Nominees from Jan 28

Accra, Ghana - 25 Jan, 2025 - Ghana's Appointments Committee of Parliament is set to begin vetting the final batch of ministerial nominees, starting from Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

This critical process will assess the suitability of individuals nominated by President John Dramani Mahama to lead various key ministries and regions.

The committee has already vetted several nominees in earlier sittings, with some having received parliamentary approval. The upcoming vetting sessions will play a pivotal role in shaping the leadership of President Mahama's administration.

Over the course of five days, the committee will vet a total of 25 nominees, including Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, MP, for the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, and Samuel Nartey George, MP, for the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations.
