Mahama Appoints Paul Adjei as new GETFund Administrator

Accra, Ghana - 03 Feb, 2025 - President John Dramani Mahama has appointed a seasoned expert, Mr. Paul Adjei, as the new Administrator of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), in a move aimed at strengthening the country's education sector.
He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked on various projects funded by international organizations such as the World Bank and the African Development Bank.
Mr. Adjei's educational background is equally impressive, holding a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Bergen in Norway, as well as a postgraduate training in procurement from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
As the new administrator of GETFund, Mr. Adjei will be responsible for overseeing the fund's operations, which include providing financial support to students, educational institutions, and other stakeholders in the education sector. The fund's mission is to support the delivery of quality education to Ghanaians from the basic to tertiary level.
