I pray Mahama wins to reset Ghana’s economy – Haruna Iddrisu
Former Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu, has called on Ghanaians to vote for the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama in the ongoing polls.
According to him, Mahama’s victory will be a necessary step in resetting the country’s struggling economy.
Speaking to Channel One News after voting, Haruna Iddrisu emphasized that a change in leadership is urgently needed to restore the country’s economic and governance systems.
“It is my prayer that John Mahama will win to reset the state of our country for the health of our democracy, economy, and good governance,” Iddrisu said.
“Change is not just necessary, but compelling. I trust that the sovereign will of the Ghanaian people will respect that, and they will choose change in the elections.”
Haruna Iddrisu further criticized the NPP government’s performance, describing it as “poor and very disappointing” across all sectors.
He added, “We need to see change. Ghanaians must witness a transformation to put an end to the unexplained suffering caused by the reckless actions and abuse of public structures by the current administration.”
According to Iddrisu, the country has been suffering due to the government’s mismanagement and is crying out for a change in direction with Mahama as President.
