Wanderlust Ghana announces ambitious road trip from Accra to Cape town
Accra, Ghana - Wanderlust Ghana, the daring group that made history with their 16-day Accra-to-London road trip last year, has unveiled an even more audacious adventure.
The group will embark on a 30,000km journey spanning three continents, starting in Accra and ending in Cape Town, with stops in Paris and Dubai.
The announcement, made on their Facebook page, reveals a scaled-down team of six members, a departure from last year's 13-person crew.
The expedition, set to kick off in September, Ghana's tourism month, has generated significant buzz, following the widespread acclaim of their previous adventure.
Wanderlust Ghana's maiden journey, which covered 10,000km from Accra to London, garnered national support as they traversed through Ivory Coast, Mali, Morocco, and France.
Reflecting on the experience, member Kwabena Peprah told BBC, "We're adventure enthusiasts and tourism enthusiasts. We've driven around our continent and country, and decided to take it to the next level."
Now, as tourism ambassadors partnering with the Ghana Tourism Authority, Wanderlust Ghana is chronicling their planned route, building anticipation for the epic journey.
The exact departure date remains under wraps for security reasons, but excitement is palpable for this multi-continent adventure.
