NABCO trainees appeal to Peace Council to intervene in unpaid 'allawa'
Accra, Ghana - Thousands of frustrated trainees in the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) programme are threatening mass demonstrations ahead of December's elections, citing prolonged unpaid allowances since 2021.
Despite repeated petitions to the government, the trainees' pleas remain unaddressed.
With all avenues exhausted, they've turned to the National Peace Council for intervention, urging swift action to prevent unrest.
