NPP calls for shift from divisive politics to development-focused governance
Accra, Ghana - The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is advocating for a shift in Ghana's political landscape, calling on citizens to focus on issue-driven solutions that foster socio-economic growth and strengthen democracy.
William Yamoah, NPP's Director of Finance and Administration, emphasized the need to move beyond divisive politics and address pressing concerns like quality education, affordable healthcare, and job creation.
“We stand at a crossroads as a country—a critical moment where the choices we make come December 7, 2024, will undoubtedly shape the future of our democracy, our country’s economic development, and our people’s prosperity,” Yamoah stated.
He highlighted Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's achievements, including introducing drone delivery services to enhance healthcare access in remote areas.
Yamoah stressed that affordable healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and praised Dr. Bawumia's commitment to expanding healthcare services.
He also commended Dr. Bawumia's vision for investing in future industries like green energy, technology, and manufacturing to create sustainable, well-paying jobs.
“This is not a campaign about Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. It’s about us. It’s about our shared future,” Yamoah concluded, urging Ghanaians to embrace a politics that champions bold ideas and transformative change", he added.
