"It's been eight years of borrowing and bad governance" - Ato forson slams NPP
The Minority Leader in Ghana's Parliament, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has slammed the Akufo-Addo administration, accusing it of eight years of terrible governance.
He accused the administration of failing to handle the economy effectively.
Speaking at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) campaign launch in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, Dr. Ato Forson claimed that Ghanaians cannot afford another term under the New Patriotic Party.
He emphasised that President Akufo-Addo's reign has been characterized by incompetence and mismanagement of limited resources.
Dr. Ato Forson advised Ghanaians who are disinterested in politics to reexamine their positions, emphasizing that poor administration affects everyone.
He said that the existing government had failed and driven Ghana into bankruptcy.
He urged the electorate to vote, emphasizing that the 2024 election is vital.
He advised citizens not to be inactive but to participate actively, as it is their collective responsibility to save the nation.
"It has been eight years of borrowing and bad governance, eight years of corruption, lies, and incompetence” he stated.
