Go to Court if you Feel ORAL has Damaged your Reputation- Domelovo

Accra, Ghana - 11 Feb, 2025 - The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee has pushed back against accusations of witch-hunting after submitting its report to President John Dramani Mahama.
Daniel Domelevo, a former Auditor-General and committee member, in an interview on the Citi Breakfast Show on Tuesday February 11,emphasized that individuals who feel falsely accused can take their grievances to court.
He explained that the issues cited in the anti-graft's report are not conclusive and emphasized that the committee's findings are based on evidence received.
He also noted that investigation is not part of the committee's mandate.
“If it is truly witch-hunting, it will fail in court.”
“If you think that we’ve damaged your reputation, you can go to court,'' he added.
During a handing over event at the Jubilee House yesterday, the ORAL Committee disclosed that they had received 2,417 complaints from individuals and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), including 1,493 calls and 924 emails.
