Future Mahama gov't will be 'scary' for corrupt officials in this country - Asiedu Nketiah
Sandema, Upper East Region Ghana - October 4, 2024 - The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has warned that a future John Mahama-led administration will be "scary for bad people" in Ghana.
Speaking in Sandema, Upper East Region, Nketiah assured party supporters that the NDC will uphold justice and fairness for law-abiding citizens.
Nketiah vowed to recover every pesewa misappropriated under the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, emphasizing that no wrongdoing would go unpunished under a future NDC government.
Accordinng to him, those who have engaged in corruption or mismanaged state resources will be held accountable.
“Let me assure you, the Mahama government is not scary for good people but certainly going to be scary for bad people in this country.”
“So wherever you are now, whether you’re in government work, whether you are in private business, make sure you conduct your life well according to the principles of a citizen of this country.
“Because when we come to power, we must set standards that’ll be followed by generations yet unborn. And that is the surest way of ensuring development in this country, he added.
