EWEZA festival : NDC pledges commitment to Ewe community

Kumasi, Ghana - The Ewe community in Ashanti, Ahafo, and Bono regions celebrated EWEZA 2024 on Saturday, September 14, under the theme "Unity, Peace, and Keeping the Progress."

Former President John Mahama was represented by his campaign manager, Professor Joshua Alabi, at the event organized by the Council of Ewe Chiefs and Manhyia Palace.

Prof. Alabi expressed gratitude to the Ewe community for their continued support and urged them to maintain their backing for Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming elections.

He highlighted key campaign policies, including:

1. 24-hour economy initiative

2. Women's bank establishment

3. Apprenticeship program

4. Stress-free policy for first-year university students

Prof. Alabi's address emphasized Mahama's commitment to empowering communities and promoting economic growth.
