Bawumia celebrates 2024 Kumdum festival in Axim

Axim, Ghana - Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was the guest of honor at the 2024 Kumdum festival in Axim, Western Region, on Saturday.

The festival, led by Awulae Attiburukusu III, Paramount Chief of Lower Axim, showcased the rich cultural heritage of the people of Axim.

Dr. Bawumia, who previously attended the festival in Nsein in 2018, expressed his delight at witnessing the traditional music, dance, and customs of the Axim people.

The Vice President congratulated Awulae and the entire Axim community on a successful celebration, emphasizing the importance of preserving Ghana's cultural identity.
