EC sets October 15-19 for online voter register re-exhibition

Accra, Ghana - October 14, 2024 - The Electoral Commission of Ghana has announced that it will re-exhibit the 2024 Provisional Voter Register online from October 15 to October 19, 2024.

This move is aimed at allowing registered voters to verify their details and report any discrepancies to the Commission for correction, addressing concerns raised by the National Democratic Congress.

Registered voters can check their details via the short code _711_51# free of charge or visit the Electoral Commission's website.

Voters can also check their details from the EC’s website: https://ec.gov.gh.

The online re-exhibition is in line with Regulation 23(1) of C.I 91, which requires the Commission to compile and display the provisional voters' register.

In a statement issued on Monday, October 14, the EC said, “The Electoral Commission wishes to announce for the information of the General Public, Registered Voters and all Stakeholders, that Re-Exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register (PVR) will commence on Tuesday, 15th October and end on Saturday, 19th October, 2024.”
