Nana Agradaa Sentenced to 15 Years for Defrauding by False Pretence
Accra, Ghana - 3 July, 2025 - The Accra Circuit Court has sentenced Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, a former chief priestess turned tele-vangelist, to a 15-year prison sentence with hard labor for defrauding individuals through a false money-doubling scheme.
Nana Agradaa, founder of Godsway International Church, was convicted of defrauding by false pretence after duping numerous victims with promises of multiplying their money.
The scheme, which was advertised on various media platforms, enticed victims to part with their savings in anticipation of receiving double the amount in return.
However, instead of fulfilling her promises, Agradaa allegedly pocketed the money, leaving her victims financially devastated.
The court's decision brings to an end the notorious activities of the self-proclaimed evangelist, who had built a reputation for her flamboyant lifestyle and claims of miraculous interventions.
