NACOC Busts 89kg Cocaine Worth Millions at Swiss Port, Arrests Four Suspects

Accra, Ghana - 24 April, 2025 - Ghanaian authorities have made a significant bust, arresting four individuals linked to a massive cocaine haul worth millions. The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) intercepted a cargo shipment at Swiss Port on Wednesday, April 23, uncovering 73 slabs of suspected cocaine weighing approximately 89.74 kilograms.
The shipment, reportedly bound for the Netherlands, was allegedly being smuggled out of Ghana. NACOC officials acted on intelligence gathered to disrupt international drug trafficking operations using Ghana's ports.
The four suspects are currently in custody, assisting with investigations. Authorities are working to determine the extent of the operation and potential connections to international crime networks.
