VP Opoku-Agyemang Hosts SADC Ambassadors, Pledges Deeper Ties

Accra, Ghana - 22 Feb, 2025 - Ghana's Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, recently hosted a delegation of ambassadors from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) on February 19.
The meeting was an opportunity for the ambassadors to congratulate the Vice President and reaffirm their commitment to collaboration among their countries.
During the meeting, Opoku-Agyemang expressed her gratitude for the ambassadors' goodwill and encouraged them to promote Agenda 2063: 'The Africa We Want' in their respective countries. This initiative aims to foster integration and social cohesion across the continent.
The discussion also highlighted the crucial role of transportation in breaking down barriers between countries. Both parties agreed to work together to enhance their transportation systems, making it easier for people to move between countries.
