NEIP Halts Operations Due to Unresolved Employment and Salary Issues

Accra, Ghana - 22 Feb, 2025 - The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has instructed its staff to stay home starting Monday, February 24, 2025, due to unresolved legal and administrative issues surrounding employment and salary payments.
According to NEIP's management, these issues are complex and have significant legal implications, making it impossible to use operational funds for monthly staff allowances.
To address these concerns, NEIP's management has decided to follow proper legal procedures to avoid further complications. This means that only essential staff may be required to return to work until the issues are fully resolved.
Staff members are also mandated to surrender all NEIP assets to the HR Officer by February 25, 2025; non-compliance will be treated as misappropriation of programme property.
NEIP's management in a statement has assured staff that they will provide updates as they work to resolve the situation.
“Failure to do so will be considered as deliberate stealing of such items,” portions of the statement read.
