Accra, Ghana - 04 March, 2025 - Ghana's Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has denounced a shocking outburst directed at Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, a member of parliament from Korle-Klottey, where she was subjected to a barrage of insults during a heated debate on February 4, 2025.
The outburst, which was made by an unidentified male voice, shouting “daughter of a murderer, sit down! Daughter of a murderer, sit down!“ This prompted Speaker Andrew Asiamah to step in and restrict further comments to parliamentary leaders.
