President Mahama Appoints Matilda Asante-Asiedu as Bank of Ghana Deputy Governor

Accra, Ghana - 28 April, 2025 - President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Matilda Asante-Asiedu as the Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana. With extensive experience in corporate leadership and banking, Asante-Asiedu previously served as Group Head of Retail Banking at Access Bank Ghana PLC.
She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role, holding various academic credentials, including an MBA from GIMPA Business School and an MA in Journalism Studies from Cardiff University.
