NDC's Paul Afotey Quaye Confirmed as Krowor Municipal Chief Executive
Nungua, Accra, Ghana - 02 May, 2025 - Paul Afotey Quaye has been unanimously confirmed as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Krowor Municipal Assembly, securing a 100% endorsement from all assembly members present during the confirmation vote.
Mr. Quaye, an engineer and Krowor constituency secretary of the National Democratic Coalition (NDC), will now oversee the implementation of developmental projects in the municipality.
In a conversation with the media after his confirmation, Mr. Quaye outlined key challenges in the area, such as deplorable roads and joblessness among the youth.
He reaffirmed his dedication to job creation and enhancing the well-being of residents, in line with government objectives.
“The vision I bring to bear is in line with that of the president, which is the vision to reset Ghana through the provision of jobs to create prosperity for everyone.
The confirmation was held under heavy security, supervised by Linda Ocloo, the Regional Minister, and Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, the local MP. As MCE, Mr. Quaye is poised to spearhead development initiatives in Krowor.
