National Education Forum Committee to Submit Final Report by March 2025 - Prof Goski Alabi

Accra, Ghana - 19 Feb, 2025 - Ghana's National Education Forum Committee is set to submit a comprehensive report on the country's education sector to the government by March 2025.

The committee, established by President John Dramani Mahama, has been engaging with stakeholders to gather insights and recommendations for transformative reforms.

According to Professor Goski Alabi, a member of the committee, the report will provide a thorough analysis of Ghana's education system, highlighting areas that require improvement.

Speaking on the 'Eyewitness News' on Citi FM on Tuesday Feb 18, 2025, Prof. Alabi revealed that the committee has been working tirelessly to gather evidence and recommendations from key stakeholders, including educators, policymakers, and industry experts.

“As you can see, engagements are going on till the end of this month. Next month, in March, we will put all the evidence that we have gathered together and present a comprehensive report to the government of Ghana through the Ministry of Education, she stated.

“We believe that there will be subsequent meetings about the policies that are going to come out. We anticipate that our report should be ready in March, and Parliament will determine how we can work around the implementation process,” she added.
