Accra, Ghana - 28 April, 2025 - Ghana has launched a new chip-embedded passport, marking a significant upgrade in the country's travel documents.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially introduced the new biometric passport system today April 28, 2025, with Chief of Staff Julius Debrah becoming the first recipient of the document.
Actress Lydia Forson also received her chip-embedded passport from Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa during the launch.
