Mahama Unveils Ambitious 30-Year Infrastructure Plan
Ghana – October 22,2025 - President John Dramani Mahama in a landmark move, has launched the Ghana Infrastructure Plan to revolutionize the country's infrastructure landscape over the next three decades.
This plan, spearheaded by the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), charts a clear course for Ghana's infrastructure development, aligning with the government's Big Push Agenda, the African Union's Agenda 2063, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Speaking at the launch, President Mahama emphasized the importance of building a Ghana that works for everyone, not just constructing roads and bridges. "Let us not just build roads and bridges, but a Ghana that works for everyone. A Ghana where vision meets discipline, and where continuity, transparency, and innovation illuminate the path to a shared future," he declared.
This plan focuses on critical drivers of transformation, including macroeconomic stability, social cohesion, human capital development, and sustainable infrastructure.
By prioritizing infrastructure development, Ghana can unlock its full potential, promote economic stability, and improve the lives of its citizens.
