Mahama takes Campaign to Western Region as Ghana's Election nears
Ghana's opposition leader, John Dramani Mahama, is set to embark on a three-day tour of the Western Region, starting Monday, November 25, 2024. This visit comes on the heels of his recent five-day tour of the Eastern Region.
As the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mahama will engage with voters across all constituencies in the region, seeking their support in the upcoming presidential election, scheduled for December 7, 2024.
Mahama's tour will commence with a courtesy call on the Western Regional House of Chiefs, where he will pay homage to the elders of the land. He will also meet with religious leaders in the region, before visiting various constituencies, including Wassa East, Shama, and Sekondi.
This tour is seen as a crucial step in Mahama's campaign, as he seeks to garner support from voters in the Western Region, a key battleground in the upcoming election.
