Meet Alice Dziwornu, the trailblazing Female Aerospace Engineer from North Tongu
A young Ghanaian woman, Alice Dziwornu, has made history by becoming the first female Aerospace Engineer to emerge from North Tongu in the Volta Region of Ghana.
Miss Dziwornu, who hails from the North Tongu constituency, graduated with a first-class degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) on Friday.
Her remarkable achievement was made possible in part by the North Tongu MP's Scholarship Scheme, which provided her with full sponsorship to pursue her dreams. The scheme, initiated by the Member of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, aims to support talented students from the constituency who lack the financial means to pursue higher education.
Miss Dziwornu's success is a testament to the impact of the scholarship scheme, which has been supporting students from the constituency since its inception. Mr. Ablakwa has expressed his pride in Miss Dziwornu's achievement in a Facebook post on Nov 24, stating that her success is a reflection of the potential that exists in the youth of Ghana.
