Internal Audit Agency Director-General Eric Oduro-Osae Steps Down

Accra, Ghana - 20 April, 2025 - Ghana's Internal Audit Agency (IAA) has bid farewell to its Director-General, Dr. Eric Oduro Osae, after a tenure marked by significant strides in promoting transparency and accountability in public financial management.

Dr Osae's departure comes after years of service, during which he played a key role in strengthening Ghana's internal audit systems. His leadership has been credited with advancing the country's financial management practices and promoting good governance.

His departure was announced on April 17, 2025, in a statement where he expressed his gratitude to stakeholders for their support during his time in office.

“I want to use this opportunity to thank all of you for the support, advice, and the opportunity to be of service to God and country,” portions of the statement read.
