Ghana's Parliament to Begin Registration of New MPs on Dec 25
Accra, Ghana - The registration process for newly elected Members of Parliament has commenced, marking a crucial step towards the swearing-in of the 9th Parliament of the 4th Republic.
According to a statement issued on December 24, the exercise will begin online on December 25, and continue with in-person registration from January 2 to January 6, 2025. This process is designed to ensure a seamless transition and pave the way for the new Parliament to begin its work.
To ensure a smooth registration process, targeted messages will be sent to members-elect via WhatsApp or email, inviting them to participate. For those requiring additional assistance or clarification, support officers will be available to provide guidance via telephone numbers 055 022 2200 or 0503634466.
“Targeted messages inviting members will be sent to members elect via WhatsApp or emails. Physical registration will start on Thursday 2nd January 2025 and end on 6th January 2025.
