Ghana Tourism Authority CEO Holds Strategic Talks with Industry Stakeholders
Accra, Ghana - 20 Feb, 2025 - The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Mrs. Maame Efua Houadjeto, has held strategic talks with the Tourism Sectors Association, focusing on the future of Ghana's tourism industry.
The meeting, which took place on February 19, 2025, aimed to address global challenges, explore new opportunities for growth, and strengthen collaboration between the GTA and stakeholders in the tourism sector.
The GTA's engagement with the Tourism Sectors Association underscores its commitment to developing a thriving tourism sector in Ghana. By tackling current challenges and capitalizing on new opportunities, the GTA seeks to establish Ghana as a premier tourist destination worldwide.
This initiative is part of the GTA's broader efforts to promote Ghana's tourism industry. In 2023, the GTA released a report highlighting the sector's remarkable recovery and growth post-COVID-19. The authority has also inaugurated an Ex-staff Association to tap into the expertise and experience of former employees.
