Ghana-Brazil Relations: Ambassador Nii Amasah Namoale Presents Credentials

Brasília, Brazil – September 24, 2025 - Ghana’s Ambassador-designate to Brazil ,H.E. Nii Amasah Namoale has presented his Open Letters of Credence to the Secretary-General of Brazil's Ministry of External Relations marking the start of his tenure as Ghana's representative in Brazil during which he will work closely with Brazilian authorities, stakeholders, and the Ghanaian community in Brazil to advance Ghana's interests and foster a strong bilateral relationship.

This formal ceremony, held at the Brazilian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday September 24, 2025, underscores Ghana's commitment to deepening its relationship with Brazil, focusing on key areas such as trade, investment, tourism, engineering, and infrastructure development.

Letters of Credence are formal diplomatic documents that designate an ambassador as a representative of their country to another sovereign state. By presenting these letters, Ambassador Namoale officially assumes his role as Ghana's ambassador to Brazil, entrusted with fostering cooperation, understanding, and mutual benefit between the two nations.

The presentation ceremony followed standard diplomatic protocols, where the ambassador-designate was received by officials from the Brazilian Ministry of External Relations.The presentation of credentials is a crucial aspect of diplomatic protocol, governed by international norms and customs. 

On his first day at work, Ambassador Namoale met with staff of Ghana’s embassy in Brazil and expressed profound honor and gratitude at the trust placed in him by the President and Government of Ghana, pledging to serve with unwavering dedication, integrity, and loyalty.
