Germany Reaffirms Commitment to Ghana's Economic Growth
Accra, Ghana - 29 April, 2025 - A German development cooperation team paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry in Ghana, reaffirming a long-standing partnership aimed at promoting economic growth and job creation.
The meeting, which took place at the ministry's offices, focused on deepening collaboration to enhance private sector competitiveness and strengthen Ghana's business ecosystem.
The partnership, part of the "Decent Work for a Just Transition" initiative, is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The initiative seeks to foster a thriving and inclusive economy that creates decent jobs and drives sustainable impact in Ghana.
Discussions between the team and Mr. Noah Tumfo, Chief Director of the Ministry, centered on unlocking greater investment opportunities and promoting decent employment. The German Cooperation remains committed to supporting Ghana's economic development, with a focus on creating sustainable and inclusive economic opportunities.
