Finance Ministry Seeks Public Input for 2026-2029 Budget

Accra, Ghana – 8 August, 2025 -The Ministry of Finance has launched a public consultation process to gather contributions from various stakeholders, including business associations, professional bodies, financial institutions, civil society groups, faith-based organizations, and the general public.

This initiative aims to shape Ghana's 2026-2029 Budget Statement and Economic Policy, ensuring it reflects the nation's priorities and addresses the real needs of Ghanaians.- The budget is expected to be presented to Parliament by November 15, 2025.In a statement ,the finance ministry directed that contributions should be sent electronically to [email protected] by August 29, 2025.

The Ministry seeks to deepen citizen participation in the budget process and implement inclusive policies that drive economic resilience, sustainable growth, and social development.
