Drug Trafficking Scandal: Ntim Fordjour Denies Publicity Stunt Claims

Accra, Ghana - 06 April, 2025 - Reverend John Ntim Fordjour, Ranking Member of Parliament's Defence and Interior Committee, has pushed back against claims that the Minority's recent actions on alleged drug trafficking are a publicity stunt.
Instead, he emphasizes that their involvement stems from a constitutional mandate to oversee national security and ensure public safety.
Speaking on Channel One Newsroom, Fordjour dismissed suggestions that he's seeking attention, saying, "If I wanted to be popular, I would have released the biggest gospel hit and then I would have had the biggest viewership. It has nothing to do with it."
As a key member of the Defence and Interior Committee, Fordjour's role involves scrutinizing matters related to national security and internal affairs.
He stressed that the Minority's actions are driven by a commitment to exercising oversight and keeping the country safe.
