Accra, Ghana - 08 Feb, 2025 - Ghana's Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine, has withdrawn all charges against former Works and Housing Minister Collins Dauda and four others implicated in the Saglemi Housing Project scandal.

A notice filed at the High Court in Accra on Friday, February 7, 2025, formally discontinued the prosecution of Collins Dauda, Kweku Agyeman-Mensah, Alhaji Ziblim Yakubu, Nouvi Tetteh Angelo, and the late Andrew Clocanas.

The accused were previously facing 70 charges, including causing financial loss to the state, related to the $200 million Saglemi Affordable Housing Project. The case was initiated under the Akufo-Addo-led administration, but has now been officially dropped.
