Bawumia unfazed by NDC insults, focuses on NPP's record
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining a focused campaign despite facing criticism from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
During his two-day tour of the Ahafo Region, which concluded on November 2, Bawumia engaged with voters in Duayaw Nkwanta and expressed confidence in the NPP's prospects for the December 7 elections.
Bawumia emphasized that his campaign will prioritize the NPP's achievements in government, rather than responding to insults from the NDC.
The NPP flagbearer also outlined his plans for developmental projects, including fixing the road from Tepa to Duayaw Nkwanta and constructing a district hospital in Dormaa.
“The NDC sensing that they’re losing the election have resorted to insults, they have been insulting us. I believe you have heard some of the insults. We will not pay attention to them, we are confident of winning the elections. We will win the elections because of our good work.
“We’re focused on embarking on developmental projects for all communities, we have developed the country. I know your concern is the road, the road from Tepa to Duayaw Nkwanta is bad. I want you to commit all the roads in my hands, I will fix the roads when I become President. I will also construct a district hospital at Dormaa.”
Dr. Gideon Boako, the parliamentary candidate for Tano North, echoed Bawumia's confidence, assuring him that the constituency would make history in the 2024 elections.
