Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Direct Members to Cut Prices Amid Cedi's Appreciation

Accra, Ghana - 19 May, 2025 - The Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association in Accra has directed its members to lower spare parts prices following the recent appreciation of the Ghanaian cedi against the US dollar.
The Association commended President John Dramani Mahama's administration for its proactive measures to bolster the cedi and stabilize the economy. Henry Okyere Jnr, Chairman of the Association, assured the government of their full support in maintaining the positive momentum and enhancing the cedi's value.
He also called on members to comply with the revised pricing, underscoring the Association's commitment to transparency and market equilibrium. By doing so, the Association reaffirms its role in fostering economic recovery and making goods more accessible to the public.
“We pledge our full collaboration with the government to sustain this positive trend and ensure further appreciation of the Cedi, bringing much-needed economic relief to Ghanaians,” he stated.
