Okudzeto Ablakwa exposes alleged government land grab, accuses Akufo-Addo of selling state lands
A recent Facebook post by Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has shed light on a contentious land deal involving the Giffard Agric Mechanization Cantonments land.
According to Ablakwa, the government, led by President Akufo-Addo, has allegedly handed over large portions of the land to political appointees for 99 years.
Ablakwa claims that the government's actions are part of a larger scheme to force out Ghanaian farmers and businesses, making way for what he terms "State Capture vampires" to exploit the land for personal gain. The lawmaker is urging the Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association of Ghana to resist the government's attempts to relocate them to Amrahia.
This development has sparked concerns about government corruption and the exploitation of Ghana's resources. Ablakwa's allegations have also raised questions about the government's commitment to transparency and accountability.
''The few lucky Ghanaians left at the prime Giffard Agric Mechanization Cantonments land who are being forced out so State Capture vampires in the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government can complete their grand loot should fiercely resist and remain steadfast.
I'' particularly wish to urge the leadership of the Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association of Ghana not to accept the vicious and mindless last-minute attempts to relocate them to Amrahia.
''Under the sleazy guise of redevelopment, President Akufo-Addo has handed over large portions of the Giffard Agric Mechanization land to his NPP political appointees such as Nana Attobrah Quaicoe and Kennedy Osei Nyarko for 99 years, as I revealed last week,'' portions of his Facebook post read.
