Jubilee house denies involvement in GIS land controversy
Accra, Ghana - The Office of the President has initiated an investigation into allegations of land encroachment at the Ghana International School (GIS) by individuals purportedly connected to the Jubilee House.
The probe, ordered by the Presidency, follows two incidents where attempts were made to deliver building materials onto the school's premises, resulting in the arrest of two individuals and a senior police officer who claimed to be attached to the Office of the President.
The GIS management has taken steps to protect its property, while the Jubilee House has denied any wrongdoing, stating that the officer involved was carrying out his duties.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has been tasked with conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, amid calls for clarity and transparency.
