I plead with you, don't vote 'skirt and blouse' - Mahama tells supporters
Bono East Region, Ghana - National Democratic Congress' (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has has urged party supporters against splitting their votes in the upcoming December elections.
Addressing a mini rally at Twimia Nkwanta, Mahama emphasized the crucial need for a unified government, urging supporters to vote for both NDC parliamentary and presidential candidates.
He stressed that electing NDC parliamentary candidates alongside the presidential candidate is vital for securing a majority in Parliament and advancing the party's national development agenda.
Mahama attributed the party's previous election loss to disunity and appealed to supporters to vote for both the parliamentary and presidential candidates to avoid a repeat of past mistakes.
He said, “We did not win the previous election because of disunity. I have also heard that most of you would vote ‘skirt and blouse.’ I plead with you all to vote for the PC and me. We need development in Techiman South.”
