Ghana Gas to close processing plants for repair
Ghana National Gas Company has stated that its Processing Plant and Offshore Gas Export Facilities will be shut down for maintenance beginning Thursday, August 1.
The exercise, which is set to end on Saturday, August 17, aims to improve the plant's operational efficiency and maintain a consistent gas supply.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, July 31, and signed by the Head of Corporate Communications, Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah Bonsu, the company announced that during the operation, lean gas from the Sankofa-OCTP field will be available for delivery at Takoradi distribution stations.
The company has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the exercise and assured the public that there will be a enough power supply.
