Election 2024: Every Vote Counts, Every Voice Matters, Go Out and Vote - Akufo-Addo

Ghana's President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has cast his ballot in the country's presidential and parliamentary elections, urging citizens to maintain the peaceful atmosphere that has characterized the voting process so far.

Speaking to the press after casting his vote in Kyebi in the Eastern Region of Ghana, President Akufo-Addo stated that information reaching him suggests that voting experience was seamless, reflecting the overall smoothness of the electoral process nationwide.

He encouraged Ghanaians to sustain this positive trend and urged those voters who have not yet participated to make their way to the polling stations to cast their votes.

“The process was excellent, very smooth, very simple, and very efficient. The reports coming from across the country suggest that this election is going very well and is being conducted peacefully. Ghanaians are showing their commitment to democratic outcomes, and we all have to be thankful to God for that. I want to tell everybody, those of you yet to vote, please go out and vote; each vote counts, and your voice matters.”
