EC unveils 40,647 polling stations for December polls
Accra, Ghana - October 11, 2024 - The Electoral Commission of Ghana has published the list of polling stations for the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections. A total of 40,647 main polling stations and 328 special voting stations have been designated.
In a separate announcement, the Commission revealed plans to print notices of poll and ballot papers.
However, the move was met with opposition from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which sought clarification on ballot statistics.
Following a meeting with political parties, the EC clarified that printing would commence with notices of poll, not ballot papers, on October 11.
