CMG Founder Eyes Ambitious Growth in 2025, Urges Staff to Strive for Excellence
Accra, Ghana - 03 Jan, 2025 - A leading Ghanaian media conglomerate, Class Media Group (CMG), has outlined ambitious plans for growth and expansion in 2025.
At a staff appreciation dinner at Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel in Accra on Monday, CMG's founder and chairman, Alhaji Seidu Agongo, urged employees to strive for excellence and take advantage of opportunities for professional development.
Mr Agongo praised staff for their dedication and hard work, saying it had been crucial in sustaining the company through challenging times.
However, he emphasized that even greater effort would be required in 2025 to drive the company's growth and enhance staff careers.
Mr Agongo assured staff that the board and management would provide full support to help them reach their full potential.
“I have always said that we have so much potential but we don’t look at it,” he said, urging staff to be passionate about their work,'' he stated.
“It is my wish and my will that we all become the best in this universe but it all depends on us. We need to work hard for ourselves,” he said at the event that was attended by selected staff across the CMG brands across the country,'' he added.
The company's Chief Executive Officer, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, also addressed staff, stressing the importance of professionalism and excellence in their work.
Mr Darkwah, who joined the company in November 2024, expressed confidence in the abilities of all staff and urged them to seize the opportunities available to them.
“From this day, determine to be a professional who does the very best you can,” he said, noting that he was confident in the abilities of all staff,'' he stated.
“I have a belief that everybody in this company can do well. It’s time to show it,” he added.
The event, which brought together staff from across the company's brands, was an opportunity for colleagues to socialize and recharge for the year ahead.
