Accra, Ghana - Akua Donkor, leader of the Ghana Freedom Party, has openly criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for what she sees as unwarranted scrutiny of the Electoral Commission (EC).

Speaking at the Inter-Party Advisory Committee meeting on October 1, Donkor accused the NDC of attempting to create chaos and undermine the EC's credibility among Ghanaians.

Donkor praised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for their cooperative approach to the EC's initiatives and encouraged the NDC to follow suit. She expressed her admiration for the EC Chairperson, Jean Mensa, calling her "God-sent" and stating that nothing can succeed against her..

In a separate interview on the Ghana Kasa Morning Show, Donkor emphasized that Mensa's actions are guided by a commitment to upholding the laws governing the electoral process, rather than personal biases.

Donkor likened the EC to a divine authority, playing a crucial role in Ghana's democracy.
