Accra, Ghana - 20 Feb, 2025 - Ghana and Barbados have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, with a focus on capacity building, cultural exchanges, and education.

Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang met with the Barbadian High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Juliette Bynoe-Sutherland, on February 18th, to discuss key areas of cooperation between the two nations.

The two nations have a long history of cooperation, with Barbados establishing a High Commission in Ghana in December 2021 to deepen their bilateral relations.They have also signed an Air Services Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen historical ties.

The recent meeting between the Vice President and the High Commissioner aimed to identify key areas for collaboration, including capacity building and cultural exchanges.
